The Town Center is what Mount Juliet’s plan calls its downtown: about 189 acres on North Mt. Juliet Road around City Hall, the post office and Mt. Juliet Station, where the WeGo Star leaves for Nashville. The city’s land use plan names it Planning Area 7, Town Center, and sets the goal “to create a Town Center to help recapture the small-town character of Mt. Juliet,” with a walkable mix of shops, offices and homes near the station. It overlaps the corners of the four planning areas around it, and the school zone line runs through it.
