Labor Day 2027 is Monday, Sept. 6. The long weekend opens with the city’s Movie in the Park on Friday, Sept. 3, at the Charlie Daniels Park amphitheater. The following Saturday, Sept. 11, is the city’s Fall Yard Sale, and Mt. Juliet Market Night is Monday, Sept. 13. There is no city trash route to change: household trash pickup is run by private haulers.

Labor Day weekend events

  • Friday, Sept. 3, 2027, at dusk: Movie in the Park at the Charlie Daniels Park amphitheater, 1075 Charlie Daniels Parkway. Bring a blanket or chairs; concessions are sold. The 2026 September movie started at 7:25 p.m.
  • Breeden’s Orchard: in 2026 the orchard held John Deere Touch A Tractor on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 5 and 6, Labor Day weekend. It had not posted 2027 events when this page was checked.

After the holiday

  • Saturday, Sept. 11, 2027: the city’s Fall Yard Sale, on its 2027 schedule. The 2026 sale ran 8 a.m. to noon at Charlie Daniels Park, Field 2, with booths rented by the city.
  • Monday, Sept. 13, 2027: Mt. Juliet Market Night at Charlie Daniels Park, with local businesses, live music and food trucks. The 2026 edition ran 5:30 to 8 p.m.
