Last checked Oct. 27, 2026. This page is updated each year at the same address. Dates and times come from each organizer’s own page: the City of Mt. Juliet’s park events list and Breeden’s Orchard’s events calendar. Parks and Recreation: 615-758-6522.
Updated Oct. 27: Halloween in the Park and the orchard trunk-or-treat (Oct. 24) are past. Breeden’s Orchard has taken its Nov. 1 Pumpkin Destruction off its calendar.
Halloween falls on Saturday, Oct. 31, this year. Before then, Breeden’s Orchard on Beckwith Road has its Friday Night Market and an outdoor showing of “Practical Magic” on Friday, Oct. 30, and Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage runs ghost tours and a Sleepy Hollow wagon ride every Thursday to Sunday through Nov. 7. The city’s own Halloween in the Park was Saturday, Oct. 24.
For the hours families go door to door, the police department’s Halloween night patrols and safety advice, see trick-or-treat hours. That page is kept separate so this one can stay on the events.

Friday, Oct. 30: market and a movie at the orchard
Breeden’s Orchard, 631 Beckwith Road, has its last October evening on the Friday before Halloween:
- 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.: Friday Night Market, with local vendors, food and drinks
- 4:30 to 9 p.m.: Cider Fridays: a Breeden’s stein of hard cider or beer for $12, refills $7 (21 and older)
- 7 to 9 p.m.: Movie Night: “Practical Magic”, shown outdoors
The orchard also has Story Time for young children at 10 a.m. on Halloween morning. Events at the farm can change for weather; check the calendar before you drive out.
The orchard’s Pumpkin Destruction, listed earlier this month for Sunday, Nov. 1, is no longer on its calendar, and its page has been taken down. We have not seen a new date.
Ghost tours and haunted nights
We found no haunted house or Halloween parade in Mount Juliet with 2026 dates on an organizer’s own page when this page was checked. The closest scares are at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, 4580 Rachel’s Lane in Hermitage, about six miles west:
- Ghost Tours: a lantern-lit walking tour of about an hour and a half covering ghost stories tied to the mansion, grounds and family cemetery. Thursday to Sunday through Saturday, Nov. 7, at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. The Hermitage says tours sell out quickly, so buy tickets ahead.
- Ichabod’s Last Ride: a 25- to 30-minute nighttime wagon ride inspired by “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” told like an old-time radio drama. $20 a person, recommended for ages 5 and up, 12 riders per wagon, at 5:45, 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45 p.m. Thursday to Sunday through Nov. 7.
More farm events are in fall festivals and pumpkin patches.
Halloween night: Saturday, Oct. 31
The city does not set trick-or-treat hours, but the police department recommends 5 to 9 p.m. Our trick-or-treat hours page has what the Mt. Juliet Police Department has said about patrols, parking and safety.
Already happened: Oct. 24
The city’s free Halloween in the Park, with its costume contests, and the Breeden’s Orchard trunk-or-treat were both on Saturday, Oct. 24. The city’s park events list already has the next one: Halloween in the Park, Saturday, Oct. 23, 2027.
What this means for you
- Friday, Oct. 30, is the last Halloween outing at the orchard: market from 4:30 p.m., movie at 7.
- Hermitage ghost tours sell out; book before you go.
- Halloween night is a Saturday, so expect more trick-or-treaters and traffic in neighborhoods.
